Our Commitment to You

Get to know us better through the words of those who know us best - our Customers

Directly below this block is a link to some of our customer's testimonials. Each of these customers describe their experience with us in their own words and their own way. We pledge to be that company providing that experience each and every day. When you are delighted that you've chosen Southern Screens as your retractable solutions provider, then, and only then, will we have fulfilled our promise to you.

Normally I reserve this space to tell you about what we, Southern Screens, have been doing recently, or are going to be doing in the near future. This time, however, I want to fill you in on something extraordinary that the Phantom Screens corporation is about to embark on.
We are, of course, the exclusive distributor of Phantom Screens in the midsouth territory, and have been so since 2000. For 3 years prior to that, we were a dealer for the Georgia Phantom distributor. So for 17 years, we have been part of the Phantom Family, and it is exactly that. Each year, at convention, we reunite with our counterparts from all over North America (and the globe as well, these days), and with the Phantom corporate staff, including the CEO and founder of Phantom Screens, Esther DeWolde.
We share our successes and failures, trade war stories, plan the coming year, play, party and laugh together, and generally act just like any large family get-together. We know each other well. Or so I thought.
Today (9/4) Phantom Screens, and Esther specifically, announced through our Distributor network that years ago she had fallen in love with the culture and romance of the deep south, and was about to fulfill a lifetime dream of restoring an historic Old South home to its former glory and charm. I had no idea!
The house she settled on is the Ford House in Mobile, Alabama. The pictures of the house in its current state and  during the restoration can be seen at
www.experiencephantom.com  . The actual restoration will be done by Danny Lipford's construction company. Danny is a long-time fan of Phantom Screens and hosts a popular home restoration TV show. Plans call for 13 webisodes of the progress and work, as well as radio coverage.
Naturally, the finished home will showcase all of Phantom Screens fine product lines, including Executive, Legacy, and Serene. It will be a marriage of old home architecture and character, and modern screening systems designed to integrate unobtrusively and seamlessly.
I'm excited for Esther, for Phantom Screens, and for us. For 17 years I've been championing Phantom Screens not only because of the quality of their products, but also for the quality of their leadership. Phantom is, and always has been, that exceedingly rare kind of company that is devoted to bettering the world around them.
It's said that you can't pick your family, but in this case I did.  I chose well!
